THERAPY DOG

Kai is a Yellow Lab Mix who will be working hard at “Dog Works Training Company” in Willow, AK to become a certified therapy dog. As soon as she is ready to be in sessions, you will get to meet her and benefit from her healing (pun intended) abilities. She is a rescue from Western AK and is turning out to be very intuitive and affectionate, with a touch of drama.

We’re excited for her addition as we have space and time after the OG therapy dog Shep, whom we all love greatly and miss tremendously

MEETING OPTIONS

CHOOSE THE OPTION THAT WORKS FOR YOU

We offer a hybrid of in-person and telehealth visits. This allows for the experience of face to face meetings, along with the convenience of telehealth. Our office environment is really quiet, private and pleasant. We’re sure that you will enjoy the gorgeous sunsets, mature trees, mountain views and a slice of Cook Inlet as a part of the office setting.

We also incorporate telehealth as a treatment option. We have found that it works just as well and is as effective as in-person. This offers you convenience when your schedule just doesn’t allow a trip to an office or maybe you are feeling a bit under the weather. The treatment setting varies week to week, as our schedule builds. We look forward to seeing you at the office or via Zoom. We are certain that you will benefit from both.

Alaska Life

Living in Alaska has been one adventure after another. This Kentucky girl never thought she'd be camping all weekend, hiking serious verticals, seeing eagles on the regular, or touching Kings with her bare hands. But here I am! In the winter, we shred some runs at Alyeska, and for the rest of the year, we take our Arctic Fox out all over the state. Still hoping for a serious boondocking experience. Homer is my happy place, where my Kentucky roots show up, and I get to ride horses on the tidal flats, along with slay some Kings in Kachemak Bay. Hope you enjoy a glimpse into our good times. We make the most of every minute up here. Alaska is a special place for sure.
